Francois
July 19, 2010 – November 10, 2013.
On November 10th, Francois passed away. He spent his last few days in his mom’s arms.
Francois was not only a faithful companion, but also my perfect baby boy. When he was diagnosed with heart problems in 2012, I didn’t think I would get an additional year loving his sweet demeanor and smiling at him when he gave me a sassy attitude. He put a smile on everyone’s face after meeting him for a brief time. For a little creature, he carried the biggest spark of life and it showed with the impact he had on all who shared it with him. His passion for goofing off was only surpassed by his love for blueberries and his Mema’s feet.
I am grateful to my family and friends for all they have done in helping me take care of Francois, and to Dr. K at Dunckel Veterinary Hospital along with their compassionate staff. I can’t even imagine what may have happened without so many loving and supportive people in my life and Francois’. His life may have been riddled with health issues but having so many caring individuals in it made the battle that much easier, and his loved ones greatly appreciated every victory. Every minute more I had with Francois formed a myriad of memories that I will always carry in my heart and cherish forever.
Francois, you will always be my loving baby guinea pig. You helped me through hard times, even when you were fighting to be here with us. Your heart was just too full of love for everyone and everything around you, that’s why it was so big. Too big for any physical form on earth.
I’ll see you again someday, Francois, and I’ll remember to bring blueberries along with me. I won’t dare forget the blueberries.
