MaryJane Shaffer
My little girl, Maryjane, lived a happy 15 years and 8 months. She was a super sweet and super spoiled little wiener dog. I remember the first time I brought her home, she could fit in my palm. She taught me to be a more responsible & a less selfish person. She was my best friend & companion when I was single & learned to love her new brother, Mugsy, when I married my husband. She even learned to get along with and fancy her newest puppy brother, Junebugg. Her favorite things included carrots, cheese, warm blankets, charlie bears, neck kisses, lettuce, bones to “bury” in the couch, belly rubs from daddy, dancing with mommy, humping piggy, napping with grandma and prancing around the house every time she got a new baby (toy). Mary lost use of her back legs due to IVDD but learned to adapt and still got around for the last few months. Although she was mostly deaf and losing her sight, she could always hear when the fridge opened and smell when we were cooking or cutting veggies. Acupuncture helped keep her as mobile & pain free as possible. She was my fur baby and I will never forget the impact she had on my life. We will miss you sweet girl. xoxo Love, Mama & Papa
