He could brighten anyone's day and was the most loving dog our family has ever known. 14 years is a long time but still doesn't feel long enough. He came into our lives by accident. It was my very first day volunteering with Beth and the girls at the Humane Society of York County. This tiny little 4 month old named 'Boone' was in the outside cage barking and begging for attention while we had our orientation. I grabbed him right away and I actually felt my heart grow 2 sizes that day. Beth and I sent pictures to Andrew and he knew right then and there that we were adopting a dog.

OscarRoyal Oak, MIOscar passed away surrounded by his human family. He was 16 years old at the time of his death. Oscar will be missed by his humans and his furry cat sister Lola and dog sister Maria. He loved talking with his Maine Coon accent to all who would listen. We miss you Oscar.
