STONEYClifton, NJIn 2008 I had the pleasure of adopting an 8 year old Lemon Beagle by the name of Stoney from the Sayreville Pet Adoption Center. From the time I found him shacking in the back of his cage till today this wonderful personality brought joy and entertainment to me, my family, and friends. If you were visiting, Stoney would run and pull out all his toys, drop them at your feet, and insist on hours of fun and play. In fact, this loving and affectionate dog was kind to every
AngelRoyal Oak, MIApril 18, 2013 was the day that my sweet Angel went to Heaven. She was 13 years old. The last couple of years, Angel had a lot of health issues and near the end she didn't want to be held or cuddled. I knew it was time the day before she passed when she quit eating and let me hold her for two hours. I knew what I had to do and I miss her so very much. Angel was a Therapy Dog who visited hospitals, a Special Education School and Hospice. Thank you to everyone at Vet Sele
JusticeCharlotte, NCIn loving memory of Justice, I miss you buddy. You were only in my life a short 5 years, but you gave me so much joy and unconditional love. You watched football games with me and it did not bother you when I had to yell and scream. I hope you enjoyed your last years of life as much as I did. Thank you for the wonderful memories and giving me the privilege to be your mom.
PookyClifton, NJPooky was one of four kittens I rescued along with his momma. He was a strong, beautiful black male who was loving and sweet and very affectionate. Pooky was short for Spooky. He was 12 years old when he passed from a liver disease. He will be truly missed and remembered. Many thanks to Greg of the Clifton site for keeping me company, making me smile and being so wonderfully understanding.
Bear AngelCincinnati/Dayton, OHBear kitty was 15 years old but was always a kitty to me. Bear kitty gave cancer one of the toughest battles I have ever seen. Bear never complained and always remained determined to beat cancer no matter how many visits it took us at his Veterinarian and Oncologists office. I tend to had always believed that Bear kitty was holding on for me and it breaks my heart in two to see my second shadow leave to be with my first shadow-Crystalblue in Heaven. They say when you are
Tiger (Orange Cat)Clifton, NJTiger was a stray cat who we began to feed when he was a small kitten. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep him in our home because I am allergic. However, we quickly grew fond of Tiger. Of all of his brothers and sisters that we fed, Tiger was the most playful kitten. In order to identify him among his siblings, we began to call Tiger the “Orange Cat” before we gave him the name Tiger. We always looked forward to seeing him when we came home and we loved to watch h
Baby DragonRoyal Oak, MINorm and I got Baby Dragon, when was a couple weeks old. She was tiny and hyper. She was born on St. Patricks day, our lucky charm. We took great care of her, plenty of love. She would sleep me, refused to let go if I tried to put her back in her cage. Dragon would get excited when we would walk in the door. Loved when Norm fed her worms. She smiled when we spoke to her. Got excited when rock music was played. Tiffany my step daughter loved her too. Unfortunately she ha
Mr. PeachRoyal Oak, MIWe adopted Mr. Peach on April 14, 2006, from the Michigan Humane Society. He and his sister, Lucky (now know as Miss Kitty) were seven years old and had to be adopted together. Miss Kitty is solid black and they made a striking duo when I found their pictures on the MHS website. Within an hour, we were on our way to see them. It had been nine months since we lost our 20-year-old silver tabby, Chessie, and I was finally ready to consider adopting another cat. Admitte
SparkySouthwest MichiganSparky had to leave us unexpectedly on 06-25-13. Sparky was a spunky 10 year old french bulldog who never left my side - or lap! He was such a good boy, and will forever be missed. Sparky loved "Puppy Bowl" re-runs, chasing squirrels, and giving foot kisses. 🙂 We know he is up having fun with all the pets gone before him, and can't wait til we see him again.
