- Cincinnati/Dayton, OH1381 Fox Fire Ct I cannot thank you enough Faithful Companions !! My beloved yellow Lab Molly was my best girl in the whole world. The way you handled my phone calls, coming to the house to get her for her cremation and her immediate return helped me get through one of the hardest days of my life. I wish i could remember the name of the man who picked her up as he was the most compassionate person and handled my girl with great care. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness. Sincerely, Cheryl McCleane
- Royal Oak, MIEvery so often an animal comes into our lives and changes us forever. They share their love so freely and bond so permanently that they leave and indelible mark on our hearts. My sweet cat Pickles was such a pet and deserved more than a backyard burial after passing. I never cremated a pet before and learned of Faithful Companion through a close friend. Staff member Tom was both professional and compassionate. He also reassured me that he would take care of my Pickles through every step of the process. Overall, I found Faithful Companion's professionalism, quality of service and attention to detail to be outstanding and would recommend them without hesitation. Special thanks to Faithful Companions canine greeters, Buddy and Opy who helped take the edge off of a very sad day.
- Naples, FLThe faithful companion family handled the creamation of our precious Pomeranian with such class and kindness, they actually got it done immediately so that we felt the presence of our beautiful pet in our house again. Every time my wife called into their office, she felt as if she was talking to a consoling family member. I can't thank these people enough for their compassion and professionalism through this very difficult time. Michael Columella Naples, Florida
- Northwest IndianaAfter 13 wonderful years, our companion Cinnamon passed on. A friend of ours recommended Faithful Companion. I contacted Tom at the Cedar Lake location, where he answered all of our questions. After the initial phone call, the process was seamless, Tom handled everything. He made arrangements with the local veterinarian where Cinnamon was located and within 24 hours Cinnamon was back home resting on the fireplace mantel. The friendly service was amazing. We not only received Cinnamon’s remains, but they also provided a paw print in a nice display, where you can even add a picture. I would highly recommend Faithful Companion, they’re friendly, compassionate and heartfelt service was nothing short of incredible.
- Northwest IndianaAbsolutely great service with dignity & respect from start to finish. Unfortunately, this our second time dealing with them in just six months. This last time it was our beautiful dog Bossy. My wife talked to Tom & he quoted her a discounted price because we were returning customers. When the young man who came to pick her up had me sign the invoice I signed it without reading it. We were overcharged $75 & when my wife called Tom to see if that was accurate he IMMEDIATELY returned our money. Can't ask for a more honest & compassionate professional. I can't recommend this team with enough superlatives to do them justice. Thank you for everything you did for us.
- Royal Oak, MIAbsolute respect and dignity just as stated. Im crying as I type these words so I will get straight to the point. We just lost our pitbull Bella at 11 1/2 on April 20th 2016, We just found out she had liver cancer and spread aggressively to to lungs.. we lost her 11 days later. She passed away here at home at 11pm. We called the vet at 9 am and they said insted of the trauma of bringing Bella to vet ourselves to call and they will come pick her up. That in itself was a major relief, when the gentleman showed up within an hour in his van he was very soft, warm caring and understanding. My other pitbull didn't even bark at him! She took to him as if she'd known him forever!.. (I knew our Bella was in good loving hands!) He respectfully picked up Bella and placed her gently in his van and and literally almost 24 hours later another loving gentleman brought our baby home to us at our door. Although the devastation of losing our baby was a traumatic experience, I have a massive amount of respect for the ladies and gentleman who work for this company. We couldn't of had a better experience. Thank you all, thank you for who you are and the pure love, respect and compassion you all have for our animals. I am eternally grateful.
- Royal Oak, MIWe had an especially remarkable kitty. His name was Bobbles. We named him that because he had cerebral hypoplasia. This is an under developed cerebral cortex. This caused his head to Bob around constantly. He also had many other birth defects which made it impossible for him to stand, sit or walk. With medication we were able to keep him comfortable. He would even play though he spent all his time laying on his side. We kept him in a child's pack and play so our other cats didn't pick on him. He had to wear diapers cause he couldn't walk to use a litter box. We took him out of it everyday when someone was home. I had to hand feed and hand water him. We got him at 6 months and took him to the vet immediately. She was shocked that he had survived to 6 months and warned me not to get too attached. When he died he was 4 years old. We prepared for the day when we would have to either euthanize him or he would pass on his own. I had already bought an urn. His conditioned had worsened very suddenly and as we were pulled into the driveway of the vet to have him euthanized, he died right in my arms. We had taken our urn with us and after the vet confirmed he had died, we headed straight to Faithful Companion for the cremation. I was so surprised at their professionalism I just knew he was in very good hands. In all my years of owning pets I have never gone to this extreme, but he was so very special to me. This was actually 4 years ago and to this day I still mourn his loss. I even made a small shrine for him wit his picture, a candle and a small statue of St. Francid of Assisi. My vet said it was probably very close to losing a child cause he required 24/7 care and that she didn't know of anyone else that would have done all that I done.
- Charlotte, NCMy little Mükki crossed the rainbow bridge on March 28, 2016. I had never experienced such a devastating emotion as the loss of my beloved Mükki. Once she passed the vet referred me to some crematory that would pick her up in a day or two and then I wouldn't get her ashes back until 2 or 3 weeks. I immediately felt something was not right with all this. I did research online about that company and saw a horrible review and immediately there after came across Faithful Companion, read their reviews and felt this was exactly who I needed to take care of my beloved Mükki. Time was of the essence since the other company had already been contacted by the vet. I called faithful companion and spoke to the owner, Phil. I explained to him my situation and immediately knew by how compassionate and understanding he was that they were the right people to help me. I then immediately called the vet and told them that they should not under any circumstances give Mükki to the other crematory company and instead Faithful Companion would handle everything. I have to say that after that unpleasant ordeal, I had the most wonderful experience with faithful companion I got my little Mükki back the day after and she was handled with care and dignity as she deserved. Faithful Companion were my angels on earth in the midst of such a painful time in my life. Thank You for giving me peace and closure.
- Royal Oak, MIWe had to say goodbye to our buddy boy, Cooper yesterday, March 16, 2016. I called and spoke to Carly and through my tears, she explained what the services are and reassured me that he would be cared for with dignity and respect. Mike, who came to my home to transport Cooper was very kind and understanding. Dominic answered all of my questions and concerns , and he did everything he could to be sure I was comfortable and at ease. I was able to bring his ashes home with me right away along with a beautiful card and clay paw print. I cannot express how wonderful all of you have been to take care of my needs and to leave me with tangible memories of my sweet boy. I will always be grateful for what you were able to do during a difficult loss. God Bless.
- Northwest IndianaOur beautiful black lab passed away at home on Sunday, March 13th. I contacted Faithful Companion and spoke to Tom who answered all my questions. On Monday, March 14th we brought our beauty for cremation. All questions were answered in a very professional, and so very sincere manner by Jeremy. We said our tearful goodbyes to our big guy in the cremation room. In less than three hours he was in his beautiful urn, with condolence card and tag. We even got a Rainbow Bridge card that in reading brought tears to our eyes. Comet is home now, forever missed, till we meet again. Thank you Faithful Companion and especially Jeremy for being so very kind, caring and compassionate in a oh so difficult time.
